Future networks rely on network slices to flexibly adapt the network connectivity. We have introduced micro-slices that allow end-devices to be dynamically inter-connected or isolated from other end-devices according to their collaboration needs. In this demo we illustrate the use of such micro-slices in the context of a show happening inside a stadium. This demonstration allows visitors on-board their own smart-phones onto safety and/or gaming slices to experience tailored digital collaboration either as spectator or civil-servant.

Protecting photonic quantum states using topology

  • Blanco-Redondo A.

The use of topology to protect quantum information is well-known to the condensed-matter community and, indeed, topological quantum computing is a bursting field of research and one of the competing avenues to demonstrate that quantum computers can complete certain problems that classical computers cannot. In photonics, however, we are only ...
