Efficiency of Cloud-Based Application Services
- Bauer E.
This theoretical work deeply analyzes operational and economic efficiency of producing services for end users from applications executing on cloud computing platforms. Operational efficiency is factored into service production efficiency, capacity utilization efficiency and VNF efficiency. A dynamic, time-driven, activity-based cost model of service production is derived. Six efficiency improvement themes are detailed: automation, agile service creation, scalable capacity, VNF efficiency, advanced self-service; and advanced cost modeling.View Original Article
