Simulating Random Mobility with Exact Geometric Calculations: MobiLib Overview
- Gloss B.
Performance studies in mobile communications require us to take user mobility as an important stimulus for the systems into account. It was our research interest to study Mobile Communications in Heterogeneous Access Environments within the Nexus Project on Augmented World Models for Location/Context Aware Services that drove us to implement the MobiLib on top of the IKR SimLib. This report provides an overview on the simulator concepts. We consider the exact geometric calculations for mobility events as being of special interest to be discussed in this report.
