Mark Bass is a Partner in the Bell Labs Consulting Business Unit where he works with customers to understand the significance of evolving ICT industry business and technology trends and to chart the essential steps to take now to succeed throughout the decade and beyond.

Previously, Mark was the head of the Bell Labs Business Modeling Center where he led a multidisciplinary team of consultants with technical, business analysis, operational, marketing, and analytical expertise. In that role, Mark worked with service providers and enterprises to examine their specific business and network issues to recommend solutions that meet their business objectives.

Mark has more than 25 years of experience with Bell Labs, with previous experiences in business reengineering, manufacturing process engineering, transmission systems engineering, and switching systems forecast management. He graduated from Cornell University with both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. He also holds a certificate from the Wharton School for the completion of their Executive Development Program.
