Tejas Kulkarni

Espoo, Finland
Machine learning Researcher

I am a researcher at Nokia-Bell-Labs in Espoo. My research interests here include privacy preserving machine learning, mainly under the constraints of differential privacy.

I am currently a part of Mikko Honkala's team at Bell-Labs.

Please check our new Responsible AI website, featuring Antti Koskela's blog post highlighting some of the interesting work  happening at Nokia-Bell-Labs on privacy and fairness. We will continue to update this website.

Before, joining Bell-Labs, I was a post-doctoral researcher in the Probabilistic Machine Learning group in the department of Computer Science at Aalto University, Helsinki in Finland. I explored the topic of privacy preserving Bayesian inference. Before moving to Finland, I worked on my Ph.D thesis at the University of Warwick, UK with Prof. Graham Cormode. Previously, I did my masters with Prof. John Augustine at wonderful IIT Madras in India.
