Biography
Rae McLellan joined Bell Labs in 1983 and is now a distinguished member of the technical staff in the High Performance System Software research department. He is an expert in computer architecture and VLSI systems. He architected and implemented Crisp, a 32-bit CMOS microprocessor, and a supporting system chip set for pen based mobile computing. He has designed several data/tele-communication systems from residential gateways in access networks to petabit optical core routers.
