Dani Korpi is a Senior Specialist with Nokia Bell Labs, Espoo, Finland. He received the M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees (Hons.) in communications engineering and electrical engineering from the Tampere University of Technology (TUT), Finland, in 2014 and 2017, respectively. His Ph.D. thesis received the Best Dissertation of the Year Award from TUT, as well as the Finnish Technical Sector’s Award for the best doctoral dissertation in 2017.
His current research focuses on applying machine learning to wireless communications, especially on the physical layer. In particular, he is working on building a native foundation for machine learning in beyond 5G and 6G radio networks.
