Dr. WU Tingyao received his Ph.D in the speech group of Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT), K.U.Leuven, Belgium in June, 2009. Prior to it, he received his master degree and bachelor degree respectively in Center for Information Science (CIS) and in Department of Electronics, Peking University, China. He joined Bell Labs, Antwerp in 2009 and currently holds a senior research engineer position there. His research interests include speech/image processing, machine learning, video delivery and new paradigm for next generation content delivery network. He published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers on international journals and conferences and holds 7 patents in the application, video delivery and telecommunication domains. He is also a reviewer for a couple of conferences and journals.
