Biography

Before becoming a Research Staff Member at Nokia Bell Labs, I worked for the Irish Research Council partnership involving Dublin City University and IBM. I received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University Autónoma of Barcelona (UAB, Spain) in 2007 and 2009, and a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineer from La Plata National University (UNLP), Argentina. I worked as a contingent researcher at the Exascale Computing Lab, HP-Labs, in 2008. My research interests include Cloud Computing and networking, Software Defined Networks and Network Function Virtualization, Datacenter Architectures,  High-speed Interconnection networks, Network Topologies, Traffic Characterization, Discrete Event and Execution Driven Simulations.
I have been involved in the development of several research projects within an international environent that gave me the privilege to create new relationships with people from different cultures and work with recognized high-quality research labs.
