I received engineer degree (MS) from Telecom Paris Tech in 1994 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris VI, France, in 1999 for work on non-linear optics in III-V semiconductor and in optical fiber. After a postdoctoral year at the French aerospace institute (ONERA) working on Mid-IR OPO, I joined the Alcatel research center (now Nokia Bell-labs) in 2000.
