I am a researcher in the Pervasive Systems department at Nokia Bell Labs in Cambridge. My current research interests include mobile sensing and embedded deep learning. My work has a strong focus on building novel mobile systems, and validating their efficacy through user feedback. 

For my research, I have been awarded Best Paper Honorable Mention Awards at ACM CHI '09, ACM MobileHCI '13, mBillionth Award South Asia 2013, and the Wolfond fellowship at the University of Toronto. My work has been covered by several media organizations including the New Yorker, Financial Times, Livemint and CBC.
