Robert J. Holt



Biography

Bob Holt received the B. S. Degree in Mathematics from Stanford University in 1982 and the Ph. D. Degree in Mathematics from M.I.T. in 1986. He was Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Northwestern University from 1986 to 1988, and since then has been working at Bell Labs, primarily in the field of computer vision. He has worked in the Interactive Computing Systems Research Department in the Computing Systems Research Laboratory, the Information Systems Research Laboratory, and the Image Processing Research Laboratory, and in the Image Synthesis and Recognition Research Department, the Visual Communication Research Department, and the Audio-Visual Communication Research Department of the Multimedia Communications Research Laboratory.
