My name is Mike Rauchwerk, and I work for Lucent Technologies in Holmdel. I am a novice at Web publishing, so please excuse the format of my page until I get more proficient.
I joined AT&T in 1984, and since then have worked in the areas of voiceband data communications, broadband data communications, speech coding, audio coding, echo cancellation, digital audio broadcast to name a few. I am a DSP engineer by trade, and am currently managing efforts in Hardware, Software, Firmware, Systems Engineering & Test for all of Lucent's product units. I am part of a central organization in Lucent known as Bell Labs Advanced Technologies. We do technology transfer from Research to the product units, as well as joint development with product units, product development for product units and consulting across Lucent. We also do work with the Lucent Intellectual Property Business to leverage Lucent's IP portfolio.
