Web interface

• Java* applets updated to work with Java changes distributed with Oracle's Java 6,update 24.
• Improved handling and messages for when the Web interface is launched and Java is missing or disabled - in particular for Internet Explorer* 7 and 8.
• The Browse Files page now includes a check-box for selecting whether or not empty directories should be included in the directory selection menu.
• Web command alerts for empty mandatory fields now use the Web Screen Field Label to identify the problem field (rather than using the field key name).
• Spawnmr now sets the default for Number of Spawns to 1, and once the spawn operation is completed, the Next Operation action Assign this MR to a Developer now auto-selects the just-spawned MR(s).

General

• Users can now add or remove items from Sablime groups from the command line, without needing to enter an editing session.
• Updated the attmgmt (Attachment Management) command on the Console, allowing users to easily manipulate (add, delete, replace) attachments to an MR's component files such as descriptions and resolutions.
• The report command now allows selection of MRs by their assigned tester.
• Per customer request, the edget command now reports the current MR among those which have the current file checked out, and reports the common generics for the check-out.

Web pages

• On the MR Details page, fixed a condition where attachments to the Spawn Notes were not displayed unless there were also attachements to the Description.
• The MR vs. File Report now includes the Generic, ... Legend, and ... Summary fields.
• Browse MRs no longer ignores Field:     =        input.
• MR links on a Browse MRs report now bring up an MR Details page even when the MR is closed.
• Browse MRs, when Section by State (the default) is selected, now presents the state groups in state-order (as it did in previous releases), rather than in alphabetical order (v7.0, update 2 and 3).
• Testpass now presents Effort and Test Notes fields when the MR Number is a group, and when the Target State is approved.
• Testpass now displays the Include Incldep MRs field when Choose Node, then State is selected.
• Cascaded-to fields (for example, subsystem on the create command, no longer show a selection unless their group has a defined default.
• Approve and Closemr are now protected from (timeout) failure even when they take an exceptionally long time to complete on the host machine.

General

• Addisrc, when used to add a non-binary file without a final newline and with auto-detect selected, now sets the Version Control Tool for Non-Binary Files to the project-defined default tool name, same as for files that do have the final newline.
• Fixed a condition where an MR could be unassigned even though it had check-outs (only for MRs that had check-outs at the time the database was upgraded to v7.0).
• The source command now (correctly) refuses to remove (or perform other modifications to) a checked-out file.
• On Console command screens, fixed a condition where, with pop-up delay greater than zero, the menu popups would not appear at all until a character was entered from the keyboard.
• Fixed several instances where the query command was mis-handling certain fields from the PGR, SC, and SNAP relations.
• Query with the GRPM relation selected and all set to yes, no longer fails.
• Reserve and unreserve status changes are now applied to the check-out in each generic where the file is common.
• Fixed a condition where closemr would not close two MRs with a mutual dependency among their (spawned) children even though the states were appropriate and the MRs were being closed at the same time.
• When accept of a spawn child into a generic changes the parent status (to spawned), it now creates a record in the MRH relation. It now only changes the parent's status to spawned if the current status is accepted.
• Node_update, node_validate, and getversion no longer warn of ignoring file extraction settings (such as keyword expansion) in the case where there are no files to extract.
• Node_update now records MRs as used on the node (and thus node-promotable) even if the update didn't cause files to be extracted.
• Setgroup now properly handles group contents when the group type is changed. Groups are no longer permitted to change to or from type PTSID.
• The testpass command no longer ignores tstate=<value> arguments.
• Fixed a couple cases where command-line setgroup would dump core (fail ungracefully) when given certain odd or improper option combinations.

TCP/IP Interface

• Create over TCP/IP no longer fails when given an extremely (> 9999 chars) long abstract.
• Node_update now works work correctly over the TCP/IP interface.
• Ssql now presents stderr and stdout messages in the same order on both TCP/IP and non-TCP/IP interfaces.
• Spawnmr over TCP/IP now adds the Spawn Notes to the parent MR in a generic when the first spawn child is accepted there.
