v61, Update 3 - Expected Contents
Update 3 of v6.1 will allow Web-only accounts for Sablime. You'll be able to configure users for your Web Sablime installation and not be forced to make Unix logins for these users. In addition there are a number of minor bug fixes and enhancements.

Enhancements

  • Web Reserve to show only MRs with checked-out files
The web reserve command now filters the MR list to show only MRs that are assigned to the current user and have files checked out. (sab040190)

  • Allow longer list of MRs in Web accept.
The web accept command now allows for a longer list of MRs to be accepted. If the MR list exceeds the normal limit, it puts the list in a group and accepts the group. (sab040204)

  • Allow getversion to process accepted MRs.
Getversion no longer fails if an MR is in the accepted (or nochange) state. Now it simply notifies the user that the MR is being ignored. (sab040256)

  • Add option to make commands recognize internal keywords
Allow users to specify "-internal_keywords" on the command line, which forces the command to recognize the internal keywords rather than external. This permits more portable scripts, since it bypasses local customizations of commands. (sab060045)

  • Enhance audits to verify consistent definition of mrgudf's across more commands
Update 2 permitted mrgudfs to be defined for more commands. This MR causes the audit program (dbcross) to check these commands for consistent external keywords. (sab060064)

  • Distribute a sample audit script and crontable entry
Sablime used to distribute a sample audit script. This MR restores that practice (with an updated script). (sab060075)

  • Set the email "From" address to the preferrred value in the PTS record.
Sablime has always sent its email "from" the user ID on the current host. This MR sets the from address to the value of the email address in the PTS record. (sab060077)

  • Make license manager more accepting of white-space format problems
The license manager now ignores problems like Windows C/R characters and incidental whitespace in the license file. (sab060085)

  • Allow Web-only access to Unix Sablime
This allows PTS-IDs to be established that do not have associated UNIX/Linux logids. These users will be able to access the Sablime instance through the Web server only. (sab060092)

  • Fixed Bugs

  • Automatically set pop-up selection to 1 for field type 2.
If you use "ftd" to change a field type to type 2 (pop-up menu), the system now sets the value of pop-up selections to 1 rather than letting you proceed with the previous (and unsable) setting (0). (sab010085)

  • Web edget should refresh file list after MR change
When a user selects an MR and a directory in Web edget, and then changes the MR selection, web edget should re-evaluate the file list, based on the updated MR (i.e. a differenct set of files might already be checked out in that directory). (sab020412)

  • "Working MR" not passed to command on not-yet-accepted MRs
The study, propose, activate commands for MRs that haven't been accepted into a generic are not picking up the "Working MR" in the web lifecycle view. (sab040092)

  • Web study commands don't display MRs currently under study
The study command on the web (both the before-accept and after-accpet versions) don't put already-accepted MRs on their menus. They should. (sab040105)

  • Getversion fails when file name has "." and dir list is "."
When the "dir" is a list and contains the directory "." web getversion has trouble with files that also contain "." (sab050049)

  • The "Next Operation" list after an Unassign is not appropriate
After the Web Assign command is used to Unassign an MR, the Next Operation menu should contain items appropriate for the now-unassigned MR. (sab050098)

  • View Changes on the web sometimes fails to do so
When a file has other unreserved checkouts, the View Changes function sometimes fails to display the MR's changes. (sab060043)

  • Mozilla on Linux calls function before applet is fully downloaded
On the addsrc command on Mozilla on Linux, add a check to make sure the applet is indeed downloaded before calling its functions. Other platforms don't need this check. (sab060062) Similarly, edput on Mozilla/Linux doesn't properly wait before trying to download the needed "merge" files. (sab060063)

  • Web commands fail when some fields are hidden
Some web sablime commands can't handle it when fields that they expect to display are changed (legally) to "hidden". Usually these are cascading fields, or the reset field in edput. (sab060067)

  • Lines Added and Deleted, Net and Absolute Size all zero in MR browser
This bug was introduced recently by a unrelated feature enhancement. This MR fixes the bug. (sab060081)

  • Source command won't set logical dir back to physical dir
If a source file has been moved to a different directory (in some, but not all generics, and thus is listed with a different logical than physical directory in some of those generics), the source command fails when trying to move it back to the physical directory. (sab060084)

  • Web Edput sometimes lists the same file more than once
When a file is common to two generics and one generic's name is a subset of another (e.g. g1 and g1.1), web edput will list the file twice. (sab020067) Same problem on web unedget. (sab060086)

  • Can't view file contents or changes if MR is closed.
The File browser on the web doesn't offer "View" buttons for files when the MR is closed. (sab060090)

  • Source command email refers to "QA" flag.
Email generated when changing the "Keyword Expansion Flag" calls the field the "Quality Assurance Accounting Flag", which it used to be some releases ago. (sab060091)
