Some thoughts on interactive real-time multimedia delivery

I was invited to participate in the panel discussion entitled “Techniques and Devices for Enhancing (Tele)Communication Capabilities” after attending the conference of NexComm 2013 (http://www.iaria.org/conferences2013/NexComm13.htm). The goal of this panel session is to discuss various issues related with IP traffic delivery and techniques to enhance the communication capabilities as well as to improve the performance of different services. In this document, we’ve presented some of our thoughts on real-time/interactive multimedia delivery over Web browsers. The research committee of NexComm values our viewpoints, and hope to inspire researchers/audiences to delve into the technical details of the issues being raised and discussed.
