University of New South Wales

The University of New South Wales (UNSW - www.unsw.edu.au) is a founding member of the Group of Eight research intensive universities in Australia.  Established in 1949, it is located in Sydney and has over 40,000 students. The Telecommunication Network Laboratory (NetLab netlab.ee.unsw.edu.au) is located within the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at UNSW, and consists of several academics, post-doctoral researchers, and Ph.D. students. It has attracted several research grants from the Australian Research Council and private industry, and conducts research in areas ranging from wireless communications to networking architectures, and protocols.
