Alfredo José Silva de Oliveira Baptista

Alfredo José Silva de Oliveira BaptistaAlfredo José Silva de Oliveira Baptista is Chief Technology Officer and Board Member for Infrastructures and Wholesale at Portugal Telecom (PT) Comunicações and TMN.

He has held several leadership positions at the company, including COO of PT Sistemas de Informação in 2003, Executive Vice Chairman and then CEO of PT Prime, SA between 1999 and 2002, General Manager of Business Communications Unit from 1996 until 1999, Board Member of PT International in 1996-97, and Board Member of Portugal Telecom from 1994 through 1996. Prior to that, he held positioning at TLP as Manager of the Major Accounts Business Unit, 1992 – 1994, Manager of the Planning Department, 1987 – 1992, and Commercial Manager from 1982 until 1986.
