Leadership
Dr. Laurent Herault is a Vice President at CEA-LETI, where he is in charge of the European activities. He represents CEA-LETI on several boards and international organizations. Joining the team at CEA in 2004 as the Director of Strategic Telecommunications Program at CEA-LETI, he transferred to a leadership role in the Wireless Communications and Security Labs team in 2008 and held that position until early 2012 when he assumed his current position.
Dr. Laurent attended the Institute National Polytechnique deGrenoble (INPG) where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science in Control Engineering and lastly a Doctorate in Computer Science. He was awarded the honor of Best Junior Researcher from the University of Grenoble, France, in 1990.
Since 2012, Dr. Laurent has been part of the team establishing the GreenTouch initiative and is currently a member of the GreenTouch Executive and Operation boards.
