Colloquium EJC-ICT 2012, Lyon, France, 19-20 November 2012
GreenTouch members both organized and presented at the Colloquium EJC-ICT 2-12, that took place in Lyon France. The objectives of this colloquium "Towards ecological and energy efficient Information and Communication Technology" were to allow a large interaction between academic and industrial researchers working on different perspectives in ICT, but sharing the same concerns about reducing the ecological footprint and the energy consumption of such infrastructures. Invited speakers debated such technological and theoretical challenges from low level physical layers up to application layers. Design of electronic equipment, deployment of optical and wireless networks and recycling processes were also been discussed.
