Future autonomous systems

The essence of autonomization

Future autnomous systems.jpg

Building new systems that learn on the their own and refine themselves

The aim of autonomization is to create benefits for humans by moving them from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat. Autonomous systems intelligently decipher human intents and transpose them into thoughtful, helpful and considerate actions. These actions elevate humans to a new level of existence by enabling them to work in harmony with machines and things to solve complex problems.

Key elements of future autonomous systems

Tracking everything everywhere

We are innovating multi-sensory industrial IoT tracking systems that can contextualize relevant events in real time. These systems will enable enterprises to accurately monitor, measure and manage physical assets to enable people, machines and things to coexist and collaborate in a harmonious way.

A Better Workplace .png

A better workplace

We are enhancing workspaces with technologies that enable them to know who individual workers are and look after their interests. By leveraging sensory and perception technologies, the workplace will become an extension of its workers and constantly strive to find ways to better serve and support their needs.

Cognitive surveillance

We are innovating a surveillance system capable of achieving situational awareness. This system will use cognitive artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to understand human needs and help people comprehend the spaces around them.

Autonomous systems

We are creating autonomous systems that can operate around the clock and perform a greater set of tasks without human operators. These systems will flexibly repurpose machines and things that normally have specific functions so that they can multitask concurrently. For instance, a drone designed to survey crops could also make short-distance parcel deliveries while monitoring a neighborhood for suspicious activity. Autonomous systems can also be taught to understand human intents and transpose them into thoughtful, helpful and considerate actions that better serve human needs.

New digital worlds

We are placing the world in the palms of people’s hands by creating intuitive cyber–digital spaces that allow enterprise operators to grasp and manage the complexity of everyday operations with ease.
