Subra has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, consulting, and academia.
His expertise is in developing planning models, predictive models, forecasting models, macroeconomic analysis, and in conducting network economic analysis. His main areas of focus are cloud services and platforms, economics of network function virtualization, network/emerging technology monetization, and emerging services and applications.
Some of his recent projects include TCO models for virtual network functions, next-generation metro architecture economics, wireless operator profitability and competitive gaming models, and enterprise services strategy for APAC operators.
He has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Texas A& M University and an MBA from Columbia University. Prior to joining Bell Labs, Subra worked at AT&T for six years in varied roles involving business operations analysis, pricing optimization, market modeling, as well as business planning for a new ventures. His other experience includes working as a senior manager in Ernst & Young‘s Transaction Advisory Services practice focusing on valuation models and M&A models in the telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, industrials and financials sectors.
